I'm sure everyone who wanted a 17" has one in their hands by now...but I don't! I originally ordered with ADC in Canada on Feb.15. Once I came to my senses and realized that Canada wasn't going to be getting the powerbooks anytime soon, I cancelled that order and ordered everything with MacConnection. This was at the beginning of April. So far I have received everything I have ordered. I called MacConnection this afternoon and they confirmed that they received a huge shipment in today that will take care of all of their backorders with a bunch left over!! YAY!! SO she said that my order would be filled today and sent, as requested, overnight delivery to Blaine, WA! I should have it by tomorrow at dinner time when my husband brings it home from across the border after work!! WOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!
Everything else is sitting on my desk patiently waiting to be connected to it....my 23" display, my creature speakers and sub, my ipod and iskins, my extreme base station, my pro mouse and keyboard, my canon scanner, my canon wide format printer, my fuji digital camera, my volume control knobby thingy, my clear acrylic base for the volume control knobby thingy, my icurve, my VPC6, my dvi to adc adaptor, my software, my acme bag, my acme bag screen cover.....nothing works without the powerbook though! LOL what torture!.......I CAN'T WAIT FOR IT TO GET HERE!!!!

Hope your new arrival brings much joy. I have had mine for about a month and still feel incomplete without it nearby. No more flaking paint worries. No more missing feet. No more overheating. No more excessive fan noise, although my former 667 DVI Ti was very quiet. Hope yours arrives in good health. Keep us posted!
PS: You may want to consider radtech cusions for your screen or some other method of protecting the LCD frame if it cotacts the handrest:

Yep, the ADC Discount is GONE b/c of the discounts recieved on the 23" HD Display and other accessories.
But at any rate, CONGRATS!!! Hope it arrives soon and the minutes go by quick, and be sure to let us know how you like it and take pics if possible!

As I mentioned in my post, I'm getting a monitor sleeve from acmebags. It slips over the lcd and the lid can be closed just fine

Yup...I can use my ADC...I haven't use it yet. Like I said, I cancelled my order with them and ordered everything from MacConnection. I'll save my ADC for something REALLY big...where I actually end up saving money

You should probably read it all the way through to find out it's a complete lie just to get people all worried...pretty good trick.

I DID read it over about 5 times. Great little fiction tale, but the possibility of it actually happening is still floating around out there...
