It's interesting reading about various PB's and the problems and experiences folk are experiencing but, may I suggest that the PB Forum be segregated into numerous forms of the PB range? As an example one could have a Forum for the 12", 15" and 17" thereby relating problems and experiences to specific PB. Just a suggestion.

I have zero administrative power to these forums, so all I can say are my own opinions. The MacNN forums had more different forums in the past, but I think that lead to some problems and a lot of work for the moderators to move messages posted in the wrong forums over and over.

I like the MacNN forums as they are now, however if you want something more particular, in the Apple Discussions you can find a forum just for the PowerBook G4 12" and 17", for more specific topics.

But most of the time, MacNN people have been more helpful

...and one for pismo owners, one for lombard, wallstreet...
etc etc

not necessary. many pb issues are "shared" issues, plus...

you can always read only the topics that interest you.

are you just trying to get us G3 users out of the way??

Nah man, it's MUCH better have an entire "PowerBook" forum. Granted, throwing iBooks and PowerBooks together wouldn't go over that well, I think it's best as it is now. Many, many PowerBook users benefits from shared advice that applies to all the PowerBooks, escp. software and common issue related problems.
