Hi guys,
I need to buy an iBook before the end of the week. The most important feature must be the combo drive and cheapest deal, any ideas where to search or deals?
Thanks

Thanks all of you for your good advice,

Finally, I got a 800/30GB/640MB for $1,200 at the UW-Madison computer store. Overall a very good deal. This computer is mostly going to be used by our laboratory personnel for presentations, writing, etc.

I am a tiPB owner (rev A 400/40 GB/384MB). I just wanted to tell you iBook owners, that I was shocked of how well built this machine is. Impressive package, very well presented it felt as special as when I bought my tiPB two years ago.

I perform a clean install, updates, and loaded Office, photoshop 7, Illustrator 10, Keynote. Pretty fast overall. I must say that I love the screen and keyboard feeling.

Huge deal, and a very good quality/cost ratio. Now, I understand how you praise your machines.

Have fun with them! (I know I would)
