well i sent in my 12" powerbook to get my list of problems repaired:
- loose battery
- trackpad button problem
- plastic separating from AL
- cover coming off from hinge release button
the unit was sent in... but nothing was repaired. they said that everything was within apple specifications. great!
but not only was nothing repaired... the bottom of my powerbook case came back with a few scratches, and one rubber feet is missing!
so i called apple up again and told them about the scratches and the missing feet... and they told me to send the pb in again... and they would replace the parts for me.
now i'm awaiting the return of my pb for the 2nd time... i just check the repair status page... and it says hold admin requote! ughh don't tell me that they want to charge me for this now!
i'm getting so fustrated with the persistent quality control problems with apples... sometimes i'd rather have a pc and live with windows crashing than stupid quality control problems
