I'm about to sell my old iBook 800/12"/30G and upgrade to a iBook 900/12"/60G. I was considering a 12" powerbook but the difference in cost, here in Australia, is significant

iBook 900/12"/60G = $2695 (AUD)

Powerbook 867/12"/40G = $3995 (AUD)

In addition I can't use my old iBook's 512MB RAM or my standard airport card. Bluetooth would be nice but is not essential.

Just wondering whether there would be any speed difference between the iBook's 40G and 60G hard drives.

I will be buying mine as soon as the apple shop near Sydney get them in, I'll be getting a 12.1 640ram and 60gb HD, hopefully I will have it by the end of the week, if things work out...
