For those with 12" PB's who called Apple re: the feet, did Apple tell you that they WERE covered or WEREN'T covered? I called Apple and they told me that the feet aren't covered under 90 day or Applecare.

If that's true, has anyone actually tried to take it into a service center (12" or 17") to get the feet fixed? Do they just do it anyway, even though it's not covered and if so, do they have to replace the whole bottom of the case or just need to remove the case to get access to the feet foundations?

If no one has taken it in, how have you fixed it? Glue?

I'm not sure how the TiBooks were done, but the rubber feet on my 17" have a little rubber stud that goes into a hole in the case. I would assume that inside the case there is something to latch onto the stud, either that or an extension of the stud that makes the foot one whole piece that goes from the inside of the case, out.

Anyone know the deal? Should I just glue'em?

One of mine came off, the left rear on my 17".

I just super-glued it back on.
