I'm the very happy owner of a 12-inch PB and will be even happier after I upgrade the memory. I suppose I could just go ahead and buy the 512 chip for the single slot, and that'd probably be fine, but I've heard that 1 gig RAM is on the way. Has anybody heard anything credible about this?

Based on my experience, the bigger chip will become available shortly after I buy. .... Thanks for any info you can offer.

1GB RAM chips are available, but cost about $800 US. It'll be a while before they are reasonable.
