Hello, I'd like to know what brands of RAM are suggested for us Apple users? I know some people say that "ram is ram" but I feel that some inferior stuff is out there. What brands do you go for and which ones do you avoid? Is Omni Technologies pretty good?

Crucial, Mushkin, Kingston (overpriced), Corsair, and Viking are very good sources. Avoid generic RAM products, even if they have namebrand chips (ie. Micron or Samsung OEM chips). The PCB is every bit as important to stability as the chips themselves and some generic RAM manufaturers really cut corners to try and bring their pricing down. Buy quality at the onset and you'll drastically decrease your chances of having problems down the road.
