For the past twelve hours straight I’ve made love to the most beautiful creature imaginable. She’s sleek, sophisticated, independent and listens to everything I tell her. What! You say? Yes. She’s a rare find. Hell! On our first date she took me to the movies and, provided I touched all the right buttons, I had her screaming out of the palm of my hand. She can hold a tune too, speak several languages and…, she’s as fit as a fiddle. My Babe runs for four hours straight yet, I’m certain that if I plugged her in, she run for an eternity!

Weird thing is she has an Apple on her head.

Yes, she arrived late last night (South African time) and I must say this has to be the most beautiful lady you’ve ever laid your eyes upon. Admittedly, I was a bit ticket-off as she had no sense of time. Understand that she was suppose to arrive on Tuesday…, but I guess: better late than never - after all she did come from somewhere within the United States but, my! Am I glad she made the trip.

I used to date another Macintosh some years back but because of my business being mostly PC and disease based I was forced to quite my colorful friend and head, back-on-over, to Mr. Gate’ daughter. I remained in her desperate arms for some three years until one day after yet another one of those, not-to-often-head-about PC ‘crashes’, I joyously threw my hands in the air, called the priest, and proclaimed that I wanted a divorce! Hence the separation began. Rather like a desperate man seeking for a twelve year old Russian wife, I searched the net for my new partner.

Of course being in Africa one only has two choices in women: the PC choice and the Macintosh Clan. I chose the latter. If you can keep a secret, the PC choice is extremely dull and boring. Colorless. I would imagine rather like George W’s hairdresser…, Mmmmm! but the Macintosh’…, now here we have something with class, sophistication, passion and above all, grace. She’s a looker, too. And I’ll tell you something else: the Macintosh ladies never have that thing EVERY month. You know, the one where everything goes haywire for a few days? No! With my babe, the one day is just the same as the next! No up’s and down’s here! Yes, she’s a lady but…, and there is no way you’re ever going to believe this! She’s as quite as a mouse. Doesn’t make a sound. Never opens her mouth unless I ask. Isn’t that the way all relationships should be? I think so.

Now to reality! Boys and Girls, let me remind you…, I’m a Switcher and switching is the easiest thing imaginable. This 17” Babe of mine is the most gorgeous machine I have ever laid my eyes upon. The screen IS magnificent. Let me repeat that for you, just in case you don’t understand: the screen IS magnificent. The simplicity of the OSX is so masterful: one can only regard it as ‘sophisticated’. And it is just that. Sophisticated because it’s so easy to use. No drivers, no shut downs and no power and time consuming start-ups just, plug and play. Why I didn’t swap earlier I wouldn’t know. You see what happens if you get caught in a bad relationship? Get out! Get out!! Get out wherever you are!

Being a woman I'd say:

Computers are like men...

- In order to get their attention you have to turn them on.
- They are supposed to help you solve problems, but half the time they are the problem.
- They have a lot of data but are still clueless.
- As soon as you commit to one, you realize that, if you had waited a little longer you could have had a better model.
- They hear what you say, but not what you mean.

PS, Congrats on your new "toy"

That's the funniest thing I've read today! And yes, I'm a man (last time I checked, that is)

Whatever...

This is a very old and over used
joke...
Actually, the first time I read it in
an e-mail (let me see... that was at
least 6 years ago...) It actually
shipped as a full, director's cut
version...

The first part is about men are
computers and the second one was, of
course, comparing women to computers...

I don't really remenber it though... I
just recall something saying that a
computer is like a woman, once you had
one, you realize that you have to spend
your paycheck for the accesories and so
forth...

Geeesh, where's your sense of humor boy?!!

I know this is an old joke, and I just happen to think it did suit this particular thread. So if you don't like it... too bad.
