Hey guys!

Question: I ordered the 17inch powerbook and iPod together at the end of march (thinking it would take 5 weeks to get there for an early may delivery)--they shipped out one week after I placed the order. So while I sit in Indiana finishing up school, my new PB and iPod is sitting on my bed waiting for me in NY...torture considering i'm typing this on a 1999 model Gateway (i know i know).

Since the new iPods were just released, and since mine is still in the FedEx package, would it be worth it to go to the Soho apple store and exchange it for the newer model? When are the new ones available?

I'm not exactly sure you could just take your un-opened iPod to an Apple Store and exchange for the new one, as a matter of fact, I'm pretty sure it'll be impossible.

However, be sure to check the Perephrials Forums as there's some good debates over which model is actually better.

The new ones will arrive to people who order now on Friday, and should be in Apple Store be early next week at the latest.
