What iTunes AAC Encoding Rate should we use?

Is 128 kbps good enough? Is it truly CD quality? Is it close to 190 kbps sound quality?

What about choosing a higher bit rate? What is the ideal recording bitrate for perfect CD quality sound?

Moderator,

Would you please move this post to General. I mistakenly posted this poll on the wrong forum by accident.
