I am trying to swap the cd-rom from a dead ibook to one with a bad drive. The smallest torx bit I can get my hands on is a T10, but it's just a little bit too big. What size do I need, or is there a workaround?

Is it a clamshell? It's a size 8 torx, as was my PB 520. These are available at Sears tool center for about 3-4 dollars. Good luck.
