Just wondering if it is possible, and if so, what kind of connector I will need?

Cheers,

Marc

Man, that is a lot of money to pay for the feature... figured there would be like a cheap(ish) cable or something. Oh well!

Bet it is not in the UK yet either...

Sadly, that's the only & cheapest way. Your best bet is to buy a display with a VGA connector.

Thanks for the info guys...

I unfortuately already have the display... I sold my d867 today as i don;t need it any longer, but kept the screen as I assumed there would be some widget to sort out the connnection...

I guess I'll have to wait for th 15 Alu if I want to keep the display

or hope that DrBott comes up with something in the mean time...

Cheers,

Marc

Ah man, that's a tough break. That was a downfall for the 12" PB in terms of features really...for $300 extra bucks you can pick up another whole display that's got a VGA-input and have another monitor available, kinda crazy if ya ask me.

Best of luck man!

Just had a look at the 1740 series of LCDs... thay all seem to be DVI or ADC...

I presume I would need a DVI--->VGA (or vice versa?) connector... Any chance you could point me in the right direction of the right one?

Cheers,

Marc
