Performance slowdown when 17" PB is used with its lid closed?

A macworld review of the 12" PB says:
"...The powerbook can even drive an external monitor while its lid is closed, although we experienced occasional performance slowdowns when we tried this".
Have any of you 17" owners experienced similar slowdowns with your pb when used with an ext. monitor?

No I have not percieved any slowdowns yet when i run the 17"er closed.

Seriously though, my previous posts on this forum are sometimes answered so quickly, sometimes within minutes, that it threw me out for a loop... and yes it does answer my question. Glad to hear it. Thank you.
