Anybody here know and good sleeve case for the Powerbook 17 other than the Marware sportfolio and JR Hill model?

I like those models but have not made my mind up yet.

I like the slim, form fitting cases, without the loud designs.

Just ordered a 17 and need a sleeve.

Thanks!

www.timbuk2.com makes a laptop sleeve ( Under accesories). The XXL fits the 17" powerbook. I use it with one of thier messenger bags. A word of caution, when I say sleeve it is just that. No pockets or room to carry anything else, as they are ment to be used inside another bag. Im not sure if that is what you are looking for or not, but it is very nicely suited for its purpose.

I just got the ACME made bag from www.acmemade.com and I love it. It just so happened that it arrived the SAME DAY as my 17 inch powerbook. It's very well protected in the bag and it feels very solid. It has one extra pocket which can hold the AC adapter and maybe a few CDs and that's it. Simple and easy. I would recommend it.

Wow, not bad. If I had seen those before I would've considered picking one up, that is if they were for sale.

I got a PowerSleeve17 from booq bags. Haven't received it yet, but should be getting it sometime this week.

I would recommend one with a detachable shoulder strap. I have Brenthaven sleeve which only has a handle and it gets annoying not being able to sling it over a shoulder.

Since I have a nice leather laptop case already, I'm needing just a protective sleeve as well. Doesn't look like it's been posted yet, but I found I nice one here...

Just got my Marware Sportfolio. Very nice.

Fits the machine very well.

Check out

http://www.marware.com/SFExtreme.html

to see it.

I think it is a great combination of protection, size, looks, and price.

I looked at both those sleeves. The booqbag is only portrait, so wouldn't work well inside a briefcase style carry bag.

After using the SleeveCase by sfbags for a week, decided I needed more room and exchanged it for a RacerX. Sorry no pics, but the sfbags sleeve is very slick if you only want to carry your pb.

Thanks. Portrait would be fine, so I can carry it in my backpack.

The third option is Tucano's Second Skin Sleeve. They sell it at European Apple's store, also see www.tucano.it
