Sorry if this has been discussed before, but I'm curious to know if there are any websites to get desktop images for the native resolution of the PB17... I would like to find some nifty Mac hardware images, or perhaps architecture related images.

thanks.

I've also just been scanning through the SpyMac galleries and the like. You won't always find a picture with the right dimensions, but you may be able to find a few with 1600 x 1200 that your computer can size down without any real quality side effects. I guess I'm saying to just dig through forums.

Yep, www.macdesktops.com has most of their recent stuff at 1440x900. However, their older desktops won't be, but desktops at resolutions HIGHER than 1440x900 still look good if it's not something that will distort by streching.

MacDesktops is definitely the place to go if you want 17" PowerBook desktops at the native resolution (1440x900). I would go to Mandolux as one source of desktops that can work well irrespective of the screen resolution.
