Hi ! I read an article about the possible introduction of "goby G3 processors" in the next iBook revision. What is that ? (support for alivec on G3s ?).

When do you think Apple will revise completely the iBook line (new case design i.e.) ? I am waiting for a 1ghz+ processor before buying one actually. How do you see the next revision, when could it happen ?

I bet we'll see an update for the iBook in September/October... (Probably 1ghz G3)

Hopefully by then the 970's will be out and they can put the G4 in the ibook and the 970 in the powerbook/powermacs

I suspect they will stick with G3 to get rid of Motorola as soon as possible.
