Well I don't know about prices, but I recall looking into them when Apple first switched to USB and they werent always that reliable - you may have to unplug and plug back in to reset hardware when it stops working. I dont know what you need it for, but I do not recall any ADB products that were that expensive, so it be less of a headache and nearly the same to price to buy a USB version of whatever you need. I believe Keyspan made a USB-ADB product.

On the other hand, maybe I've got it all wrong and you want to connect something USB to an older mac? I dont know if that works, but USB PCI cards are cheap too.

So what are you trying to connect?

You can get the Griffin iMate to allow use of ADB devices on a USB Mac, but I don't think it's worth it for $40.

I've also seen a number of USB to ADB converters on the Low End Mac Swap List for pretty cheap but I have no idea how well they work and how compatible they are with various devices.

These are relatively simple pieces of plastic and metal. I just used one on machine at work. I'll look today to see if I have an extra one, if I do, I can send it to you.

I do have a ADB -> USB adaptor. PM me if you are interested in it.
