Okay, here's the problem - the button that I press to release the Pismo's lid has started sticking, meaning that when I push it in, it doesn't spring back out until I mess with it a bit. This is kind of annoying, since I can't get the lid shut until I get the button to snap back out.

Any ideas? What would you guys do about this?

So I'd have to replace the whole latch button?

Can that part even be replaced?

It's just sticking, not broken, as far as I can tell.

Ticking sound coming from a .pkg package? Don't let the .bom go off! Inspect it first with Pacifist. Macworld - five mice!

I'd lubricate it with the tiniest bit of oil (or perhaps a silicone grease).

Or maybe something sticky got in it, in which case you might be able to just clean it out.
