With the new ibook announcments last month I'm wondering if now is the time to buy an ibook ? Will Steve jobs announce a newer one next month ? I have saved forever for this and don't want to buy one and have a new model come on in a month or two.

I say buy it now if you want it now. You can play the waiting game but it never ends. If a new one comes out and you HAVE to have it, ebay the old one and pick up a new model.

Waiting for a new model will only prolong the agony of not having such a cool little machine. I sure wish they would make a black one though, or at least a dark grey. The Aibook is cool but I really like the poly case of the ibook.

Then wait a few months. since you waited this long. a few more months are not gonna hurt.

I had been waiting for months deciding whether to buy a 800mhz or wait until the update, I just couldn;t wait any longer so i bought a new 900mhz.

If you can wait then maybe thats best but, along the way your really gonna be longing for one.
