I have a new 12in PB G4, there's a port out labled headphones, and they certainly work for that purpose. But screw headphones, I want to use my digital boston acoustics 735 computer speakers with it, however the fact that no sound emits from then when plugged into my PB substantially limits me from acoomplishing that goal. Can anyone help?

Hrm...according to this review it was made specifically for Gateway computers unless the model you are talking about is different from the one I found:

I am fairly certain that the 12" audio out port is analog and will work with speakers with an analog connection. Mine has worked flawlessly with my set of Cambridge Soundworks.

Damnit, you are right. I did buy them with my Gateway. I've wanted to upgrade my speaks for a while so I guess I'll just buy some new ones. Thanks a bunch.
