This laptop does not boot from the OS9 Diskwarrior CD as most know. Since I have an old HD left from my old 15" with OS9 and OS10 on it, would it be possible to get an enclosure, plug it in by firewire and use Diskwarrior that way? The new OS10 bootable Diskwarrior disk which is comming from Alsoft will not have Optimizer included.

Yes, you can boot from an external disk and then defrag your primary drive. I do this with Drive 10 all the time.
