so i have been noticing when i use itunes with my ibook some of the songs i rip have a sound in them...like a skipping sounds...it doesnt happen on all the songs and not even throughout the whole song...has anyone else had this happen? thanks

I've had the same experience. When listening to the imported files I heard skipping like when a CD skips. However, I tried re-importing the CD a second time and then the files sounded fine. Thing was that the second time I didn't listen to the CD at the same time I imported it. Apparently that caused the skipping sounds. That and the fact that the CD had some scratches here and there.

well since its only on one song it must be a scratch on the cd, i dont listen to the songs as i import them so i'll try to import it again and see what happens. thanks
