I bought an iTV cable set to connect my 17" PowerBook to a friend's TV in my dorm, and the end that includes the audio cable and S-video cable was designed to be used on the TiBook, judging by the amount of length given to allow space between the two ports. On the AlBook, the audio port is on one side while the S-Video sits on the other. Is there any way to still make use of my iTV Monster Cable? With extensions? Where to get them? Do I need all new cables?

You can find an extension cable for the Micro Stereo Jack just about anywhere that sells Stereo Cables. They're very inexpensive!

I've got the Bose Quiet Comfort Headset, It came with a gold plated extension cable. I use it to reach the Sound out port, like you, my Audio/Video Cables don't reach both sides of my 17"PB when I want to connect it to a television.
