I recently ran xbench on my 800mhz ibook w/640sdram, and I was consistently outscored by other people using the xbench program with the same hardware. I thought that perhaps my settings were askew, but that was not the case. Any suggestions as to how I can improve my xbench score would be greatly appreciated.

Make sure you don't have any processes eating up your CPU in the background (check process viewer)
