I'm looking to buy a job lot of DVD-Rs, and was wondering what the best make was - am looking at svp communications, where it is about £1 per DVD-R, with princo, ritek, samsung, FWS and the rest. Is £1 too cheap? will they become coasters?
Well DVD-R discs are hit & miss with Apple's SuperDrives, and I'd be extremely hesitant to buy a lot of them without testing at least two of them on my SuperDrive first to ensure they work. I wouldn't know of exact brands that work, but I do recall someone saying they had issues with Princo media.
If possible, try them first, and if you're sure they work, pick yourself up a lot for a good deal.
