iBook won't boot from disk or FW Hard drive

	I have a 700mhz iBook 20gb hd 256mb ram i can't boot from the OS9.1 CD by holding down the "C" key or from choosing the disk in startup disk. Same with my FireWire Cutie drive selfpowering, i try to start up holding the option key and the cutie drive system folder wont show, it showes in the startup disk control panel but when i choose it, i get a question mark folder and then the ibook boots from its own HD. Running 9.2.2 on the ibook trying to boot from 9.1 on the disk and the FW Hard drive Please help
