When I bought my PowerBook G4 12" in NYC (at the wonderful Tekserve on 23rd), I asked about Mac disk repair utilities. They suggested I boot the laptop in target disk mode and run a utility such as Disk Warrior or Tech Tool from another machine.

I've since asked at the Apple Store in SoHo and they actually had no answer.

So my question is this: since the new PowerBook is incapable of booting in OS 9, will it be able to boot of the Disk Warrior 3 CD and fix stuff?

Diskwarrior 3 is Mac OS X native so it will work.
