I'm just about to order a 17" PB, and the question of a bag/sleeve is vexing me right now. I'm generally liking the Booq PowerSleeve 17" right now, but it's hard to grasp what it will look and work like from their website. These bags aren't available here in Scotland (AFAIK), so pictures and online ordering are my only indications
If anyone out there has a Booq PowerSleeve 17", would you consider posting some pics of it in use? Particularly, I'd like to see what it looks like when it contains a PowerBook and its adapter, and how it sits while being carried.
How does it seem strength-wise and with respect to durability?
Thanks in advance, anyone who can help.

I got mine shipped over to London a week ago. Some thoughts:
It is a sleeve. You can just about get the Albook and the adapter in but you'd be lucky to be able to carry very much else in there.
It is very well made. It's strong and durable. I don't imagine that it will break for a good while yet. The inside material is very nice and soft. I have the Radtech sleave for the laptop but to be honest there's little need for that with this case.
It's nice to carry and sits well. I've always had the normal laptop bags so I was wary when going for the 'horizontal' design but it's fine. The shoulder strap is a little thin for my liking but it's not a big deal.
all in all it's a really nice bag. I wouldn't buy one if I needed to carry alot arround with me or if I was using it for long journeys as it can't hold very much else apart from the laptop. I use it for walking to work (about 20 minutes) and it's great. It's also extrememly cheap, about £38 I think. The company was nice to deal with too. For that price it's almost worth buying one anyway. I will buy one of their other 17" bags as I sometimes need to do long trips but for my current needs the sleeve is perfect. I think you'd be hard pressed to find another bag of the same quality for that price. Unfortunately I'm unable to post any pics but the ones on their site are pretty accurate.

Thanks for that. I have a Timbuk2 messenger bag that I use for the big stuff, but I liked the PowerSleeve because it seems viable for when I just need a mimimal configuration. From what you say, it sounds like the PowerSleeve will be great for that.

Yeh, if you're happy with minimal then go for it Actually, one thing I didn't mention, even though the sleeve is very thin, it still feels remarkably solid. The casing is very stiff. There are also two zips. One on the back and one in the front. Neither have any chance of making contact with the Albook so no scratches! Hope you like it.
