I'm trying to help out a friend's boss who has a G3 Powerbook and is looking for either an internal Zip module or (preferably) a CD-R/RW module to replace a bad Zip drive. I know it's not a Pismo, since there are no firewire ports on the back. I've searched the web and can't seem to find any CD-RW drives that will work on any G3 except for the Pismo. Does anyone know if such things exist and if so, where they can be found? BTW, my friend is in NY, I'm in Ohio, so unfortunately I can't take a closer look myself.

Yikes! $300 for a CD-RW seems a bit steep! I might be interested in the Zip module. Email me or reply here if it's for sale.

It's for sale. I'll be fair on price. Check out e-bay or some resellers and make me an offer.
