I received a burned DVD+RW movie of a play I was in, but when I insert it into my 1GHZ TiBook's combo drive, it just spits it right back out. By contrast, it plays fine on a DVD player and my friend's generic PC. What gives? Any way around this limitation?

I don't think that the Apple Drives support DVD+ media at all. Can anyone confirm this?

I don't know. Although Apple drives definitely can't burn DVD+R, I would have thought that they would be able to read them (since they are mostly compatible with the same players as DVD-R). But I have no experience using DVD+R so I really don't know.
