Pb 1ghz Combo Drive spits out CD's

I have perfectly new music CD's that my combo drive doesn't even take and just spits it out. They play perfectly on PC's and other CD players. Any ideas? My Pb is new, therefore it is not because of dirt or anything. It plays other CD's / DVD's fine.
