I used xBench to test this. I am not sure if it is what you are talking about, but on reduced I got around 60 CPU, and on highest performance, I get around 99 CPU. I hope this helps.
System Profiler used to tell you. Doesn't seem to anymore.
Just read a tech document that specifically mentions the 800 and 900MHz processors. They can be stepped down to 400MHz. However, the processor is capable of dynamically altering its speed to match the load at the time.
