Does anybody know what Mhz the 900mhz ibook scales down to when in "reduced" processor mode?

I used xBench to test this. I am not sure if it is what you are talking about, but on reduced I got around 60 CPU, and on highest performance, I get around 99 CPU. I hope this helps.

ok so it seems like it drops about 33%... can anybody confirm that it drops to 600mhz?

Hmmm...

System Profiler used to tell you. Doesn't seem to anymore.

Just read a tech document that specifically mentions the 800 and 900MHz processors. They can be stepped down to 400MHz. However, the processor is capable of dynamically altering its speed to match the load at the time.
