I have been meaning to get an iCurve for ages, well a couple of days ago I bought an iCurve, PowerMate and Apple keyboard.
They rock! The iCurve suits the iBook perfectly, I was worred about having a 12" so far away, but it is fine. I just increased the fonts from 9pt to 12pt - its lovely
I recomend them to anyone
Anyone else got any opinons on iBooks with iCurves?

I would have though 12" is a bit too small to use while elevated.

Does it work with basically any laptop or is it just the 12" Ibook?

Well I use it with a 12" iBook and AssassyN uses his with a 17" PowerBook - all extremes so I guess any laptop, as long as it is a mac of course

Absolutely, anything from a 12" laptop to a 17" laptop will work fine. I was very worried my 17" PB would be unstable on it, however it's quite the opposite. I'm extremely impressed with how stable the iCurve sits w/ the 17" PB placed on top.

And it would be even cooler if the Apple keyboard actually was wireless, or if it was plugged into the iBook.

Yeah, right. That keyboard looks as though it is wireless.
I have to admit though, this Icurve thing is pretty cool, I will buy regardless whether I choose to have an Apple laptop or an IBM one.

AssassyN: Note that the iBook-on-iCurve image from the Griffin website is a mockup. The iCurve is actually wider than the iBook, not the other way around (as falsely pictured in the mockup). For a real life scale, see the iCurve pictures on my .Mac account. For example:

The iBook and iCurve still make an awesome combo!

If you look at the picture from Griffin's website, I can see a small bit of the iCurve protruding outward from the iBook exactly like I can in your pic on the left hand side.

the iCurve is wider than the iBook, just a tiny bit wider. The pictures on the Griffin site is an actual photo, I think.

<I would have though 12" is a bit too small to use while elevated.>

Michel_80, There are all kinds of ways to increase the font size on iBooks so that text is easy to read. I'm assuming this is what you are talking about in your post.

I always increase font sizes in word processing documents while I work on them on-screen. Then I change the size for printing. It only takes a second.

In web browsers Apple>+ will increase the font size. Apple>- will decrease the font size. Just hit these a couple of times til you are comfortable with the size.

The display resolution can also be changed to 800x600 to make the display easier to read. You can put an icon on the menu bar to make changing resolution quick and easy.

My laptop is elevated and it's just as easy to use as my desktop which has a much larger screen. In fact, I hardly ever use the desktop anymore.
