Hi.
Last night Mac OS X 10.2.6 completely froze up on me. So I did a force-restart using Command-Control-Power. When i restarted, I got a blinking system folder (meaning no valid system was found).
So I restarted again, while holding Option. However, my hard drive did not show up on the Startup Disk Manager.
I tried holding the reset button for 5 seconds, but no go.
I then started up from my external LaCie 120 GB hard drive (Mac OS 9.0). Then when it started up I got an error saying something similar to "You have inserted an unrecognizable disk. Do you want to initialize it?" - meaning my HD. I obviously clicked cancel.
So now I am forced to use my external HD and cannot retreive any of my files from my internal one.
Can anyone give me advice?
Thanks in advance.
