Plain and simple: I/O-board-change did nothing, still green/black clutter on TFT. Need new one now.
Which TFTs can I use apart from the original Apple-approved? Sean, where did you buy yours (iirc, you used a generic one)?

Best regards,

Generally speaking, any 14-inch LCD that doesn't have a built-in inverter will work. Did you have a panel in mind?

Just one with the same quality as the (two?) Apple ones. What do you have now? But more important - where do I get these?!

Without any solutions also... I wrote him an email about his LCD.

Someone needs to take the plunge to find out for certain. I noted last month that someone was selling 14" Compaq SXGA+ LCD's that could do 1400 x 1050. They do not have builtin inverters.

Why don't you do it?

The connector isn't in the right place on that SXGA+ screen.

I don't know jack about LCD's, but if you or someone with more knowledge than me finds one that seems to "fit", then I would surely consider it.

I'm not going to spend any more money or time on my Pismo. Its graphics card is worthless.

Well, I hope you can at least give me the information about your Pismo? What brand/type is the new TFT in your machine?
Or do I confuse you with someone else?

Best regards,
