Hey all,

Looking at the specs for the G3 Bronze keyboard model (400MHz) PB, it says that AirPort is 3rd party. I assume this means that you have to pick up a wifi card and put it in the PC card slot?

Does anyone have one of these with a wifi card? Does it work well, and which card do you recommend?

Thanks,
X.

I did this years ago with Mac OS 9:

However I don't have any experience with it under Mac OS X.

Yep, I had much the same setup - Lombard + WaveLAN card. There is an OS X driver for PowerBook wireless via PC-card on sourceforge. At the time I didn't have a basestation and the driver doesn't do ad-hoc networking. But this might be a moot point now, what with the software base station in 10.2(?)
