Okay my bad. That really changes everything then. I see a lot of powerbooks that are used going for $2500 and hell I'd rather pay the extra 200 bucks for warranty etc.

Anyway, I say go for it -- you won't regret it. I haven't.
Do they have a for sale forum here? I might list my 1Ghz Titanium for $2700 flat and it includes AppleCare for 3 years, extra battery, TiBook Tote and Tilt handle and it's flawless but I still haven't decided yea or nay. I'm debating about the 17-inch system which I like but I still think might be too big and bulky. I can also simply sell my system to my company but they'll only give me up to $2500 for it. I really love this machine. I can honestly say that out of all the Titaniums I've owned this 1Ghz system has been the best.
Anyway, all I can say is shop around. I've noticed that Club Mac usually has some pretty great deals.
I'm not so sure about eBay. It seems a little risky to me.
Anyway, I think you'd be happy.

I was checking around tonight and didn't see too many "price drops" of $200. Where did you see that?
Anyway, I've decided to keep my Titanium. I'll probably give it to my kid if I want to buy a new 15-inch aluminum or 17-inch aluminum system.
I think that the Titaniums are going to remain a great system.
Remember the Pismo 500Mhz systems? Well, I gave that one to a friend for a song and that is one thing I really regret doing. It was fully loaded and had two batteries, AppleCare until 2004, and a DVD/CDRW drive, Zip drive, every bell and whistle. Now I wish like heck I had that machine back and I've regretted selling it ever since.
I think I would really regret selling my Titanium.
