Hello there,

I recently purchased a Ti Powerbook 1ghz and it is great. I've been using Windows for years and years, but my first computer was an Apple II. It's good to be back.

However, I am a total newbie right now. I was wondering if anyone could point me to a website or perhaps a thread with some good advice on tweaking/optimizing my Powerbook.

Any tips (even the most basic) would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Geoff

Welcome back to the Mac fold !

As for your question, when you say 'tweaking' do you mean hardware wise, or software wise...

What did you have in mind?

Hmm...good point. I suppose more software, although if there are hardware tips that would be great too. Perhaps I should raise this in a different forum?

Thanks,

Geoff

Adding more RAM will definitely help. I didn't...and everytime I have lots of applications open, I can feel the difference.
