OK, 466 graphite. does anyone know about what kind of adhesive to use to get it back on? I set the book to Apple and they seems to have polished it, this was awhile ago, ever since then the rubber is pulling away, slowly, but now to the point I am concern about it. Anyone else deal with this?

Bump.

Definitely getting worse. Anyone have a suggestion? I am wondering if it was applied to the plastic by some kind if heating. I plan on keeping my iBook and this kinda takes away from it.

The 'Apple' fell out of the lid of my 466SE a while back...

I tried a load of adhesives to glue it back, but in the end, the only one that worked was Superglue (tm!)...

No adverse effects to report as yet.

Peace,

Marc
