1. I was ripping some cd's the other day and burning them off for back up(audio) and noticed that on some of the songs their is this weird warble like sound that makes the tracks almost completely impossible to listen to also noticed this problem on some of the tracks that are on my computer but not all of them that i noticed on the burns. Was wondering if this was a media problem(cheap samsung) or a problem with my superdrive.

2. my headphone jack will not recognize that anything is plugged into it. Tried with bose media mates and a set of grado labs phones and i have no luck, could this be a software problem. worked one minute and not the next

Thanks for checking this out, please respond if you have a chance and if you have some answers. Thanks in advance!

Never seen problem 1. I suspect bad media and/or bad player. Superdrive seems unlikely.

Problem 2- Are you saying it used to work and now doesn't? If you plug in a headphone do your Powerbook built-in speakers stop making sounds?
