What do people think of the touch sensitive keyboard for the TiBooks MacSlash mentioned last week?

Sounds fascinating - I'd be tempted to snap one up (something very Trek about touch sensitive devices!) except that my girlfriend uses my 15" PowerBook and probably wouldn't like it - I only use it when travelling (waiting for Kensington to bring out a larger saddlebag before I take my 17" PowerBook with me).

It sounds kind of cool, but I don't think it would be very easy to use. Keyboards are hard to use if they don't provide enough tactile feedback.

I hafta agree here...if it were touch-sensative there'd be no obvious response/feedback from pressing the keys, thus it would be harder to feel if you actually pressed one, and it'd be harder to feel the edges of keys in which many people use to judge which one they're on.

I prefer an external keyboard so I can pound on it when I'm coding and playing games. I can also eat and drink over it and not stress out. I go though about 1.5 kybds per year.
