Before anyone blasts me for not searching the threads, I'm at work and don't have the time.

My 15" 667's screen is going to hell and I would rather get a new PowerBook than fix the weirdness in my screen. When are the new 15" PowerBooks coming out? If the rumors are true about the 970, I can wait a month or so, but this is my work machine and I need to move soon.
Forget the curveball Rickey, give 'im the heater.

Just wait until Monday. If not get a new 1 GHz 15" for $2,599. Great machines.

Short answer: nobody outside of Apple knows. (Well, I suppose that the companies who actually build the things know.)

Heck, most of the people inside Apple don't know.

In other words, any information you find before an actual product announcement is nothing more than rumor and conjecture. There's already an open thread for PowerBook rumors, take a look there.
