Is there any setting or way to adjust at what temp the fan comes on in my 12" PowerBook.
Its getting far too hot and the side where the ports are is untouchable cause its that hot.

unfortunetly no... you may want to try and get an external cooling fan.

surely it doesn't permanently attach to your PB? does anyone have any experience of one of these?

Wait, I see that, but doesnt that make it not sit on a desk properly? It looks kinda bulky for just an 8 degree difference.
