Is it technically possible that the next PB rev, or a future PB (or iBook) rev will have the iSight built in?

Not at the moment, if you want the same quality. Lenses take up space. I agree though, that would be excellent. Did you ever see that Sony baby Vaio with a camera built in the screen? It was a little bit ahead of its time but very cool.

I don't see why not, my cell phone has one built in and so do the Sony CLIE's (The palm PDA clones).

It would probably have to be built into the base rather than the screen. Maybe even a flip out kind of deal from the side.

My answer: No, there is no limit. Pack them gizmos in.

Add fuel cell technology so, with all them gizmos, it will run for more than 4 seconds.

No need to microwave TV dinners just put your PB 17 on top of a frozen dinner and by time you check your emails, the Hungryman dinner is ready...... now if it could only chill the beer!

I think apple's philosophy doesn't really lend itself to something like this. Sony was able to put a camera in a sub-notebook, but the quality coming out of it was terrible. When apple comes out with a product, they don't come out with a minimally finctional version...they come out with a really functional , kick-a$$ version. A camera built into a laptop would be cool, but until they're able to fit one with decent res, and a decent framerate, I think they'll keep cameras an outboard component.
