Can someone explain my why I have two different sets of Screen-resolution on my PB, depending on .. maybe the weather ?!

This is a problem because my Quake config is on 1152 x 768. On "a hot day" there is not such a res. but a 1024x684 and vice a versa.

please, does any1 have similar observations !?

Uh, which Powerbook are you referring to? Also, games sometimes show resolutions that the display is not capable of. I may have seen this problem in Q3 at some point.

its a PB 667 and I can choose only res which are available also in the "finder" for Q3 ...
