My PB 12 is very hot if the iSight is turned on. The fun don't stop. I would like to find out if others got the same issue.

Encoding video is processor intensive stuff. Encoding video on the fly even more so. Your PB is busy, that's all. Don't worry about it.

How about the iSight itself getting hot? Is it OK to leave it plugged in 24-7, or only plug it in during usage? I noticed that it gets quite hot.
Now I know, and knowing is half the battle!

I can't answer your questions, unfortunately. But I find that my iSight doesn't get hot at all. It is winter in Australia... but my room isn't that cold.
