Since my last thread, where I was talking about my sizzling woes with the 17" PowerBook, I've received the third unit to pass through my hands. Finally, this one does not sizzle like crazy, and I can run it with the processor speed set on highest. In fact, it's quieter on full speed than the second unit was on reduced speed.

Thank goodness.

Thats great.

I don't have that problem with my 1GHz Ti. But then again I can't hear a DAM thing over the two LOUD cooling fans!
