Hey,

Well I guess I'll start at the very begining:

I walked into a Life Science Lecture. As I went to take my laptop out of my bag and place it upon the table as it was in my hands it slipped out and the left back corner hit the table first. It must have fallen 3 inches. Well I thought nothing of it at the time. For some reason I forgot to charge my battery . Well I placed it in my bag.

When I got home I relised the back of the case were the AC input is, the case bent out about 1/4 of an inch (oh like 3 cm). It was strange. I could no longer charge my battery.

So I took it to a local store in Brisbane Australia. I has to pay $300 au. They had to replace the hole case. I went a week latter to pick it up, and when I did the felt were the CD goes in was messed up. I think there are like 4 sections with the felt. Well half of one section was like falling back inside the case. This is unexceptable for $300.

Well It got fixed and they wouldn't let me hold the computer when they gave it back, they kinda just shoved it infront of me and then took it back and held it on there side of the table. I paid and I just went, I didn't look at the laptop until I got home. The one guy at the store said that It got a brand new case (top bottom etc) and It got it home it still wabbled. However the screwed up thing was that at the front the case was popping out were the mouse button is. So that if you looked down on the computer from above. If you put your finger straight down you could put you finger in the hole that the case made were it popped out. It was also missing a couple of screws.

I took it back to the store, they BENT THE CASE to make it look fixed and they gave me a new screw. You can no longer stick your finger in the hole it made, all you can see is that is bubbling out there.

The problem:
Since I got my computer back it has like 3 fan speeds, like super slow, medium and full speed.

It seems to always sit on the slow speed fan, like if you put your head next to the machine you can hear something going. It isn't the hard drive (when you put it to sleep it still is going). When you even start the computer early in the morning the fan is going. I have tried everything. Unpluging all perifierals. Turning of networking, turning of blue tooth, running off battery, running of AC.

Does everyone elses 12's fans run like this?
With a fan running all the time?
