Might the upcoming 15" upgrade continue with the Ti case? Perhaps just a CPU upgrade, possibly with bluetooth and/or a new GPU? Maybe they'd even include Airport Extreme on an internal PCMCIA card like the original Airport? Seems that the G5 has AE on a PCMCIA card.

Interestingly, MacWhispers (yeah yeah, their credibility isn't great, but thats not the point) is predicting that the 15" will continue to exist in Ti for a revision. this thread hints that the next 15" might have the same system bus.

Perhaps Apple will continue with the minor ~200mhz upgrades and the 1ghz will become the low end model? Would be interesting... perhaps a preferrable result.

I'd be willing to bet just about anything that the next 15 revision will be Aluminum to match the 12 and 17"....

I would think Apple would want a certain uniformity to it's PB line if it went through the trouble to make an update.

Yeah I don't think they will leave the old casing on a newer 15. Besides if the screen is going to be 15.4" instead of the current 15.2" you need a new case, so why stick with titanium?
Current Macs:
15" PB 1.5ghz G4, 512 mem, 80 HD, 128 vram
Dual 2.5 PM G5, 1.5 ram, 240 HD, 6800 GT
20" ACD
40 Gig iPod Photo
